Introduces the concept of audio raytracing in Snowdrop and gives details about its implementation through the GPU raytracing query system
Presented together with Alexis Crickx, Rendering Programmer
I am Kasparas Eidukonis, a game developer and programmer from Lithuania, currently working at Ubisoft Massive as a Lead Realization Programmer. I am an avid learner and love projects that challenge me with new tools and technologies. Here you can find the projects I worked on.
When I was 13 I started modding Minecraft, then game programming with Unity and custom engines, mobile and desktop development. Later, I moved on to C++ and since 2019 I have been working on audio tech for Snowdrop, one of the propriatary engines used by Ubisoft. Occasionally I also do web development, custom Android ROMs and enjoy reverse-engineering things.
